Kingaroy's Broadway Hotel, ca. 1939. The licence for Broadway Hotel originated at Taabinga Village in 1902, when Taabinga Village Hotel was erected by Mr George Warren. The building was destroyed by fire, replaced by a new building and sold to Mr. Ola Akessen. It suffered a similar fate but was once more rebuilt. It was afterwards progressively removed to Kingaroy and now survives in part at the Broadway Hotel. (Description supplied with photograph.).
